I wonder what the outcome will be if the Icelandic volcano keeps spouting ash into the atmosphere? So far the air transport system down wind has been thrown into chaos! One wonders how much longer the airlines finances , already in tatters , can withstand the economic pressures? Fares will rise dramatically as the directors try to scrabble back the lost revenue. Dirty tricks like charging for the toilets and charging more for a bit of luggage than you were charged for the fare will become endemic!
Lets go by boat then!! Get your money into maritime transport I say!! Buy a yacht! Get a dinghy!
We will end up with big galleys , two banks of oars plied by the beleagured passengers spurred on by a hairy geyser with a whip and a guy beating the rhythm on a big drum (I am applying for that one) only three weeks to NYC!!!! The only carbon footprint would probably be on your arse!!
